I’m going to call this New Year’s luck, okay!
It has taken me forever to find something that is Korean (to add to my food!) and buying food and having it shipped to me sounds, eh, how do I put it very, very weird and overly strange!
So I rather if I can’t find it not have it but luck was on my side today ^^ me and my Mum were in town and decided to take a walk while waiting for our order and we came across a shop that sells Asian stuff (food, books, accessories etc…)
I found it ^^
고추장 hot pepper paste ^^
I’m really happy and my mouth is burning now haha! I put way too much in the food I made …!!!
it’s really spicy actually I thought it was an over exaggeration that it was so spicy ㅠㅠ I was stupid to thing that ^^
Now I am going to look for more Korean recipes because I can get all the Korean ingredients ^^
How cool haha!
What are some good Korean foods to make though, I don’t eat much meat so it’s difficult! Isn’t Korean cuisine mostly meat orientated?

You can make 떡볶이, 김치찌개, 비빔밥. I suggest going to maangchi.com she has millions of recipes and videos with different ingredients.

Yay! Congratulations in getting 고추장. I am from the Philippines and a lot of Koreans are here. My village is often called Korean town because everything Korean is there – Korean mart, salon, restaurants, car shop, laundromat, etc. It is easy for me to acquire various K-products because of them haha. Glad to find your blog 🙂

I was seriously happy and excited 😀 yeah it seems like that side of the world (well you are in Asia so it makes sense :D) but there is a lot of Koreans there and all (^_^) which is cool! here there is only 1 Korean restaurant that I know of and 1 Korean mart that I know of and this is in the capital city XD so even my Korean textbooks are not available here I have no choice but to buy them online (hanbooks ; mykoreanstore ; seoulselection etc.) Your so lucky you can get K-products so easy 😀 and I’m glad I found your blog too 😀
Haha. Now you can try some dishes using your gochujang. I dine in a K-restaurant last Wednesday and I remembered you when I though of how abundant “everything Korean” is in my place. Don’t let that discourage you. There are online shops as you said.

떡볶이 is one of my top 5 fave K-food. Yay! Can you do it well? I can’t really cook so my friends play sisters and husbands to me by cooking various dishes for my taste. Perhaps you can try posting recipes in your site.
School 2013? Is it good? I hope I don’t disappoint your love for Korean culture, but I am not very active in kpop and kdramas nowadays. Reading and blogging take much of my time. However, I am downloading Big and hopefully have the time to watch it.
Where do you watch drama?
Its’ the only Korean dish I have ever made and tasted LOL but it was good when I made it I enjoyed it actually 🙂 and haha I used to be like that saying I can’t cook then I just tried turns out I can cook haha!
But your lucky you have friends that are interested in Korean culture people just tell me “Your trying to be different” which is not very nice to say 🙁

And it is good but I am only on episode 4 (and have been for the past two weeks) too much to do drama is the last thing on my mind…and no I don’t actually keep up with the latest in K-pop or drama’s when I have time I stumble on things and then land up enjoying them and thanks for reminding me I watched episode 1 of Big last year wanted to continue but I forgot I think I will watch when I have time AGAIN XD
