[this is a scheduled post I wrote this early early this morning xD]
Like I said at the end of my post yesterday I would explain why the heck I’m learning Hiragana ^^
Obviously it’s because I’m learning Japanese, and I’m so serious I’ve even put a book in my cart and I’m planning to check it out in a couple of days, and I’ve purchased 7 eBooks online. That pretty much tells you how serious I am about this now.
I’ve actually never purchased anything for a language unless I am serious about my studies. Which gives me a really warm and fuzzy feeling! (:
I currently just know one Hiragana character, and honestly once you make the decision to actually learn something it somehow seems less intimidating to you. Everything kind of makes more sense, you understand the puzzles of your “new world” and all that stuff etc.
Or not so much understand the puzzles of your new world but more, are able to see the logic in them, 5 days ago whenever I came across anything written in Japanese (Hiragana/Kana/Kanji) whatever, I would just say “Uh. Okay, like that makes any sense” now I just came across something and the first thing I did was look for that one Hiragana character I know in it. (it wasn’t there hmph)
Right now I’m actually planning on finished the first chapter (which has 5 hiragana) by tomorrow morning, doing the exercises, quizzes then moving on! (:
I will definitely be posting random tweets in Japanese (and obviously Korean as usual) on Twitter ^^ it only gets better when you have more languages to speak in. I think so anyway, I currently can think in two only pfft how boring now adding a third xD
How exciting. Also since I am using materials that are digital I don’t have to wait for arrivals woohoo. I hate that (but hopefully I get new Korean stuff asap
So here is my “Hiragana” explanation, wish me lucky <3
Wow, I just found your blog and I think it is awesome!! In high school I started watching Japanese dramas and self studied until I could go to Japan on multiple study abroad trips. Now I live in Japan and work there but after I started dating my Korean boyfriend, I got back into learning Korean. I would love to do a guest post for you sometime and would love for you to do one for me! My blog is at thebeautyofexistence.wordpress.com ^^ Keep rocking Korean!
