Last day of the month book haul

The final day in August.

I had to buy some books today, I couldn’t resist a single one of them! >_< I can never resist books but today was especially difficult. There were too many in front of me, and I sadly didn’t have enough to take the whole shelf/stand –.–

But here is what I did get.

Forgive Me – by Lesley Pearse

The top one – I have read four Lesley Pearse novels ; and two of them I loved, the other two confused me, maybe it was my age. But this one looked really interesting so my Mum took it, but I’ll read it too. When I have the time and energy.

The Bricklayer – by Noah Boyd

The bottom one – okay I have to admit that I actually bought this book because of what was on the cover, it had the words :-

“Move over Jack Reacher here comes The Bricklayer” JAMES PATTERSON

I loved that movie, so I felt like if someone felt this was better than the Jack Reacher character then I have to read it, and know more about ‘him’ (?) ^^ and I’m loving it so far. Started reading in the car after I left the store actually, very good. Thrilling hehe </3

Twilight Trilogy (Twilight #1 – New Moon #2 and – Eclipse #3 (again!) – by Stephenie Meyer

I mentioned yesterday I am Twi-hard! ^^ Well I actually left the house this morning with the sole intention of buying Twilight (Book 1) and got home with much more. And a second – since I already own Eclipse, but since it was a trilogy set I just re-bought the book. Hehe.

Happy with these books- since I was actually going to get them specifically (:

I went ahead and decided to protect them with plastic wrap! 🙂 Don’t want any harm to come to them, not so early >.<

I can’t wait to read New Moon. Gonna be fun (:

But in the meantime I’ve already started on The Bricklayer and loving it so far. If I like the series I’ll get book 2 which is already out and it’s called Agent-X – sounds so mysterious, right? ^^

xxx, Kirsten
