HI guys ^^ I’ve been thinking of my 2015 pack for like three days now (: ever since I messaged twochois about my special order (made it like in August/November I think) and due to stress and needing breaks often I didn’t take care of it. ):

Since I have the special order to checkout I figured why not choose a few books that can take me through the year (happily if they can) – a few essentials maybe. Because, currently I feel like my books are boring me, I have seen them far too long on my shelf, so I’m using them diligently (well as best I can) to get them to the back of my shelf, and make room for some new people (—books ^^)

Also, I’m planning a book giveaway ^^ anyone interested? And if so what would you be looking for in a free book? xD I’ve been looking at books that would be useful for a long time! Or books that you could hold a special attachment to. That kinda thing.

For me, I was looking at a vocabulary textbook, not to study from but I don’t have one, and I highly object to them but I’d like one just because, should I need something it can act as a handy dictionary and not a vocab list (:

The second book I was looking at was more comprehensive, diverse shall I say, I have no comprehensive textbooks except for the Ewha series which I need to step back from, and I have no desire to spend a lot of money on the Yonsei series right now, my shopping list is already too long as it is. I’m not even certain I want a university text at all.

See! This is me, I pick something, then decide I don’t want it. Going to be a long long day, since I plan on buying everything tomorrow :3

my two cents for the day ¬bye¬

  1. I suppose if I were looking for a free book, I’d be interested in a elementary level text. Something to really get me started that was easy to use. I’ve found that the texts I’ve used for Korean are really difficult to follow. I don’t know if Korean has grammar dictionaries like Japanese does, but those are the most useful books I have in my arsenal. 😀 On a more personal level, a horror manwa (comic book, spelling is probably wrong) would be so useful because you learn more when the material you use is relevant to your interests. Do you study using target language comic books?

    1. I agree with the dictionaries, and sadly I only know of two Korean dictionaries for grammar (the two I have!! ^^) which is a little restrictive but they remain useful throughout any language study. They are a must have indeed. I was the same originally I always found Korean textbooks hard to follow, then i don’t know but it all just falls into place with time (:

      *manhwa and alright I will look into some universal manhwa comics, that would be nice I think as well. And yes I do, not often, just when I feel like changing things up, I have 6 comics in total (Sad Love Story 4 set / and Heartstrings 2 set) and I do love studying with them, because its much more fun. How about you?? 🙂 thanks for leaving a comment :3

  2. I think Manhwa is a good idea 😀 ( just like Liz suggested) Its fun to pick up vocabulary from. Also I think grammar book which has to do with verbs… I personally kinda struggle to remember verbs ^^;;

    Btw, Happy New Year Kirsten!! ☆*・゜゚・*(^O^)/*・゜゚・*☆

    1. I’ve noticed its really useful in vocab only recently actually (: to do with verbs like a comprehensive textbook!? ^^ i understand that i struggle too sometimes on that -_-

      Happy New Year to you too ;);)
