Happy & Quiet Days in My First Week of 2015!!

Hey guys ^^

Well, first off I seriously apologise for the lack of updates, for the first time it wasn’t even my fault. On Sunday afternoon (3PM) a tree branch from the massive tree in the back of our yard fell on our power line and till today there is still no news of any technician coming soon to repair it, which is highly frustrating but nothing seems to be able to speed the process up. Which sucks a lot.

So in the meantime its a mild blessing in disguise, the whole day I have no power so that means only 3G on my phone which, due to super high charges doesn’t last me very long and the only things I have to keep me company are :

1) my mum, sister and my cat Midnight (and if airtime is available my BFF on Viber)

2) my books (this is all my English novels ; school textbooks ; Korean textbooks ; just every book I own)

3) my makeup because my everyone I can talk to in my home likes to sleep >.<

4) myself. yes I’m very entertaining I can make myself laugh or cry (:

5) K-POP!!!! You know this is entertaining.

6) my yoga mat. I just lie there sometimes, its more fun than my bed really, and its pink hehe ^^

BUT! From the time my Dad gets home from work which is about 6pm I have power and I stare at Naver ; so I have power at night because of the generator for almost 8hours ^_^  which is perfectly fine with me. I weirdly appreciate the lack of power during the day, and the limitation of power at night. Although I will be honest it will start to piss me off by Friday. I will be a junkie shaking with withdrawal symptoms ㅋㅋ

What I got up to 🙂

I got up to a lot though. I lived in my grammar textbooks on Monday and Tuesday (today I did squat and I kinda feel good about that, sort of like recovery for the previous two days) – I understood so much of what I was studying in Korean I was shocked. And happy to the core. Literally, I worked on intermediate grammar on Monday and learned more than enough contrast endings/structures etc.. then I made a super effort to try and translate things I was thinking into Korean and type them into Note app on my phone, will compile and stick on lang-8 ^^ practice done.

How simple is that. So relaxing as well!!! 😀

I even got so adventurous I decided to go backwards in my study, just for fun. I picked up a beginner textbook and decided to read more on particles (not the 이/가 ones the other ones like 밖에 and etc. more of the unusual suspects to mess up my writing) got boring /sorry/ so I pretty much moved on in about 10minutes. I did learn to count to 100 though xD

Picture that : Sitting on a Pink yoga mat, with a textbook, and sound recording app opened counting to 100 in Korean. It seems pretty weird. Then I take a nap on the Yoga mat ^^ perfect isn’t it?

I’ve mentioned how much I suck at numbers before many times on the blog right? I remember it. Now though after staring at them for almost 2 hours I feel almost confident in them! I can’t rap them like GD but who knows might be possible in about a month (: positive thinking! ^_^

I also at random intervals stared at the gate waiting for the postman to throw something over the wall. Expecting almost 4 things actually. Including new textbooks from twoChois :p

I’ll probably do the same thing tomorrow, till my Mum snaps and looses her mind to get the power back.

Read Korean comics or something. To be honest I don’t know what I’ll do, beauty of living free of commitments xD

Have a lovely day

{I wrote this last night but then got tired now posting it on Thursday. And I didn’t do anything today either so lol} and after my Dad flipped out at the power company we should have our issue attended to yay <3

xoxo
