Japanese PV’s are seriously difficult to find as it is, and when you look for a high quality video on YouTube its near impossible. So I discovered 🙁
Well maybe not for AKB48 and more popular groups outside of Japan but for 嵐 its near impossible. I really wanted to see all the 嵐 videos, like PV and Live stages and I couldn’t find any which was seriously upsetting, because when I like a group/artist I like to binge watch all videos and listen to all albums so I know if its going to work between us! (★^O^★) and also on YouTube its hard to find other music you like using those stupid “Recommendation” things on the side because none of it makes much sense, right?
My problem exactly. So I decided “You know what, ditch YouTube and look elsewhere” because to begin with I didn’t know what Arashi songs had a PV and which didn’t. They have 15years of discography so the list is mighty long. For real. It took me about 30 minutes to read through it ^^
Wikipedia was not really as helpful as with when I first got into 씨엔블루 and 소녀시대 – so next step I remembered a long time ago visiting a site called JpopAsia.com and I figured that its Jpop right, so they should have something I can work with, wasn’t sure what, but I knew it would be something.
I was right, a full list of all their releases from 1999 (I was 4 years old when they debuted haha, makes it seem so long and it was also one year exactly to the date before my sister was born) so looking through their songs and picking which albums to listen to was fun, and watching all their PV’s starting with the newest “Sakura” ~ all fun and games till you get to a PV that isn’t available 🙁 🙁
And as dramatic as it sounds I needed to see that PV!!! After hearing the mp3 for 「P・A・R・A・D・O・X」 I actually wanted to know what the PV looked like, I had my own idea of what it looked like and it was going to work on my mind for hours if I didn’t find it haha. So I hunted for anything I could find, I did land on YouTube but it wasn’t what I thought it was, it was some random fan-made video, nothing official. Then a little more digging and voila ~ I found PV heaven @ MusicPV.Jp
And I have no added this baby to my bookmarks and its my second homepage! I moved over drama news for this! That’s how good it is. I thought I’d share where to get some Japanese PV and stuff. If you are like me, then music is seriously an essential part of your learning, and you will need to find some asap or you will have nothing to listen to. So if you need some music ideas i HIGHLY recommend going to this site and either watching the ones you wanted to see but could never find or just picking the ones in the top lists and listening who know what you might find, I know I found a few I like ❤
In case you are wondering (why would you? haha) but I am now a die-hard Arashi （嵐）fan! By two biases are Matsumoto Jun and Kazunari Ninomiya ~ of course! ヽ(愛´∀｀愛)ノ
